The Graduate Diploma in Business Administration at Sydney Met is designed for tomorrow’s entrepreneurs, business leaders, and those who want to consolidate work experience or advance their careers in the exciting field of entrepreneurship. It provides an ideal starting point if you need a thorough grounding, in theory, to progress or have been away from studying for some time. This course is a pathway to the Master of Business Administration (MBA).

The course introduces students to key entrepreneurship and business concepts. Core subjects are from our MBA program and provide an immersive experience with students from diverse industry, cultural and educational backgrounds. Students will learn the fundamentals of business to gain a grounding in the core aspects of entrepreneurship and business administration and build their strategic business capabilities. They also gain market insights and acquire key knowledge and skills to make informed decisions. Students will gain a holistic strategic business point-of-view required to operate effectively in an increasingly competitive and changing global business world. This course is designed by academics and entrepreneurs who are committed and serious about leading their careers and businesses to new heights. Students will learn how to develop critical strategies to guide their entrepreneurial and business by developing and employing dynamic leadership skills.

Completing the Graduate Diploma in Business Administration provides a pathway to the Master of Business Administration (MBA), with credit for all subjects completed during the Graduate Diploma.

This course is accredited by TEQSA (Tertiary Education and Quality Standards Agency) and is consistent with the AQF (Australian Qualifications Framework). TEQSA regulates qualifications in the Australian education system. This means that Sydney Met is recognised as providing its students with quality education for the courses on offer that align with Australia’s Higher Education Standards.

Entry Requirements

Qualification

Completed a Bachelor’s Degree AQF Level 7 in any discipline, OR Completed a Diploma or Associate Degree qualification in a related discipline AND a minimum of three years full-time professional professional experience in related fields.

Academic IELTS of 6.5 overall with no band less than 6.0, or equivalent.
