Units of Study - BSW
Units of Study within this course are designed in consultation with the social work industry, this course is not only linked to employment, but also to creating competencies that lead to a rewarding, self-determined professional life. Students will be well placed to add significant social, cultural and economic value to society through entrepreneurial activities in social work (such as the development of charities and NGOs) and advocating for policies and practices that encourage the fair allocation of resources. Integrated field education is a core component of the BSW course, involving 1,000 hours of experience in work placements.
