Units of Study Description
Units of Study within this course are designed by targeting students who are deeply interested in, and passionate about, entrepreneurship and make a difference. In pursuing these Units, student will obtain knowledge, understanding, practical skills and reflectivity in different facets of entrepreneurship to engage with the world that is so diverse and ever changing. The focus of these Units are to ensure a high student satisfaction rate and learning outcomes, reflected by developing the critical thinking competence in students that enables them translating exciting ideas into innovative actions. Upon completion of these Units, graduates are expected either take the challenge of becoming socially responsible entrepreneurs, or proactively engage in the expanding field of entrepreneurial business careers.
Bachelor of Business (Entrepreneurship) comprises 24 Units: 17 core and 7 elective Units. Students must choose 7 out of 15 elective Units to complete the degree requirements. The electives are offered from the end of Year 2 to provide students with a solid knowledge and skills base before they progress into the electives.
The following table shows a structure and simple flow of the Units for completing the BBus (Entr). It is, however, possible that students may design their own study plan. The majority of Units have no pre-requisites, enabling students to enrol flexibly and commence studies in the Trimester of their choice.
