Our education agents can help students to make important decisions about moving overseas to study. They are experts in the education system in Australia and can provide advice about study and living options. Education agents can also help students with the application process and some agents can assist with other practical arrangements including flights, visas and accommodation.
The Sydney Met Student Representative Council (SRC) is the student association for undergraduate and postgraduate students. This is the student body elected by students every year. The elected members are engaged in and contribute to Sydney Met governance, decision making and student engagement Sydney Met offers academic and other support as well as representation for students. As a student of Sydney Met, it is your responsibility to read our Student Code of Conduct and understand your rights and responsibilities in accordance with the values and principles of mutual responsibility and expectations between staff, students and Sydney Met.
Students must read and understand their Conditions of Enrolment, ensure their enrolment is correct at all times, know all important dates regarding changes to their enrolment, and pay all student fees by the due date. Students must also check their Sydney Met student email account regularly, read all correspondence, and respond promptly where required. They keep their address and phone details up to date with Sydney Met. Students must be familiar with the policies and rules that govern their studies, including the student handbook. Sydney Met has expected behaviour and conduct that is required to be maintained by each student.
As an international student with an Australian student visa, you students have additional responsibilities. Student needs to make sure that you comply with your visa conditions at all times.
Sydney Met's campus is located on the unceded territory of the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation, who are the traditional owners of the land where the campus is situated.
