To qualify for an award of Undergraduate Certificate in IT a candidate must successfully complete 24 credit points as outlined below: There are no pre-requisites or co-requisites
Units of Study
Undergraduate Certificate in IT Course Learning Outcomes
CLO 1 – Demonstrate and apply introductory knowledge of key areas of information technology
CLO 2 – Analyse and interpret information to inform and support decision-making
CLO 3 – Apply knowledge and skills to use IT for solving real world problems.
CLO 4 – Communicate effectively with individuals and within teams
CLO 5 – Apply ethical principles to decision-making in key areas of IT
Students completing the Undergraduate Certificate in Information Technology will receive credit for all four units in the Sydney Met BIT as all units are core to the BIT. The BIT has two majors: Cyber Security and Information Systems, and a General (non-major) option.
