Note: Fees are calculated based on a Unit of 6 credit points value, which excludes Units such as Field Education and Capstones. For Units with higher Credit Points, a proportional adjustment will be made in fees.
Sydney Met offers a range of services to students on a fee-paying basis. These fees and charges are set as a fair and reasonable amount to cover the costs of Sydney Met and are non-refundable. Sydney Met reserves the right to review and change these fees and charges at any time.
Tuition fees and charges are subject to periodic review and may be increased by Sydney Met on an annual basis. Any increase will ordinarily take effect from the beginning of the subsequent calendar year. Students will be made aware of any changes to fees and charges prior to the revised fees and charges coming into effect. All students, including domestic and international students, are required to pay the current applicable tuition fees and charges that are in force at the time payment is due, regardless of the fees and charges that applied at the time of enrolment or commencement of study.

Sydney Met maintains transparency and provides full information to students regarding fees, charges, and refund of fees and charges so that they can make informed decisions and protect their rights as enshrined in government regulations like the ESOS Act.
Sydney Met is committed to ensuring that students are treated fairly and reasonably with regard to student fee refunds. Enrolment/ Admissions fees, assessment fees, RPL/Credit Application fees and other administrative charges are non-refundable.
Refunds are generally not available after the course commencement date. However, in compassionate and compelling circumstances, the College may, at its discretion, approve a pro-rata refund based on the time elapsed between the course start date and the date the refund request is received.
The Refund Procedure is as below:
Step 1: Applications for refund must be made by the student, by completing (and signing) a Request for Student Refund Application Form.
Step 2: The completed form must be submitted either by email to [email protected] or in hard copy at the College reception.
Step 3: Refund applications will be reviewed and assessed, and a decision will be made accordingly. All refunds are subject to approval by the College.
Step 4: Once approved, refunds will be processed within 28 business days from the date the Student Refund Application Form is received.
Step 5: Refunds will be processed via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) to a nominated bank account. Please note that refunds cannot be issued in cash.
